Gun of the Day: Freedom Arms .454 Casull Revolver

Some guns are made for hours of enjoyment at the range, plinking away with small caliber rounds. It's easy to go through hundreds of rounds and wonder where both they and the time went! Today's Gun Of The Day, however, is not one of those guns. This revolver made by Freedom Arms is chambered for the potent .454 Casull round. You wouldn't want to spend all day shooting it at the range, but it does make for a great hunting cartridge. This scoped and cased example was a presentation piece to Robert E. Petersen, and it bears a custom serial number that includes his initials.
