Great American Outdoor Show Opens Tomorrow in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
HARRISBURG, PA – The 2015 Great American Outdoor Show presented by Outdoor Channel opens its doors tomorrow, starting a nine-day celebration of America’s treasured outdoor traditions from February 7-15 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
At 650,000 square feet, the Great American Outdoor Show is the largest consumer sports and outdoor show in the world. This year’s show features nearly 1,100 hunting, fishing, shooting sports, archery, boating, RV, and outfitter exhibits, 200 outdoor seminars and demonstrations, daily celebrity appearances, and more than a dozen special events and contests.
“The Great American Outdoor Show has absolutely everything a sportsman could hope to find at a show celebrating America’s passion for the outdoors,” said Kyle Weaver, Executive Director of NRA General Operations. “Last year’s show was an unparalleled success, but we learned a lot and can’t wait to show attendees how much better this event can be with the NRA at the helm.”
Highlights of the 2015 show include an NRA Country concert featuring Lee Brice, Thompson Square, and Josh Thompson; the second annual NRA Foundation Banquet sponsored by Henry Repeating Arms; the Great American Gun Giveaway sponsored by Remington; and the NRA Foundation’s Wall of Guns sponsored by Henry Repeating Arms. Additional activities include the Family Fun Zone, NRA 3 Gun Experience, Pyramyd Air® Air Gun Range, and the 3D Bowhunter Challenge.
Parking for the Great American Outdoor Show may be accessed at the Farm Show Complex and several nearby lots, including the Harrisburg Mall, which provide free shuttle service during regular show hours.
