National Rifle Association Partners with HPR® Ammunition to Auction Custom Black Ops Jeep Wrangler on GunBroker.com

FAIRFAX, Va. – Conquer the most rugged and challenging off-road trails in this Black Ops Jeep Wrangler generously donated to The NRA Foundation by HPR® Ammunition. As a collaborative effort, the National Rifle Association and HPR® Ammunition customized the Jeep to be auctioned on GunBroker.com beginning April 20 and will end May 22, just in time to enjoy the one-of-a-kind vehicle all summer.

“This Black Ops Jeep Wrangler uniquely captures the strength and spirit of American freedom,” said Executive Director of NRA General Operations Kyle Weaver. “The NRA is always proud to partner with fellow American workers and companies to promote the outdoor lifestyle and raise money for the future of our shooting and hunting traditions.”

The entirely custom 2014 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 is outfitted with a 3.6 liter Penstar V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque to tackle the steepest slopes. Smittybilt XRC Armor side panels with diamond plate cutouts surround a reinforced roll cage that is topped with a Wild Boar tactical slant back hardtop. Ride in style with embroidered Katzkin Leather seats on a TeraFlex suspension while you light up the night with Rigid Industry light bars and LEDs on the undercarriage.

“Working hand-in-hand with the National Rifle Association on this one-of-a-kind project has been an honor and a privilege,” said Jim Antich, founder and managing member of HPR parent company Advanced Tactical Armament Concepts. “As a veteran-owned company who proudly makes our products in the USA, we understand the significance of the fight for our freedom, family and the future.”

All net proceeds from the auction will benefit The NRA Foundation, America’s leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports.  Since its inception in 1992, The NRA Foundation has funded more than 35,400 grants, totaling over $267 million in support of the future generations of sportsmen.
