National Rifle Association Announces Daniel Defense as Friends of NRA 2016 Corporate Sponsor

FAIRFAX, Va. — The National Rifle Association announces Daniel Defense as the Guardian Level Sponsor of its Friends of NRA program for the third consecutive year. Created in 2009, Friends of NRA’s National Corporate Sponsor program allows companies to support Second Amendment enthusiasts and the shooting sports on a national scale.

Friends of NRA is a NRA grassroots fundraising program that fosters community involvement to organize and localized events for firearms enthusiasts. All net proceeds from Friends of NRA events are allocated to The NRA Foundation, America’s leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports. NRA Foundation grants provide qualified local, state, and national shooting sports programs with funds to involve and inspire a new generation of competitive shooters.

Through Daniel Defense and the other 2016 National Corporate Sponsors, The NRA Foundation can support national NRA programs like Eddie Eagle GunSafe, a firearm accident prevention program for pre-k through fourth grade students, and Women On Target, an introduction to firearm handling clinic by women and for women.
