NRA Collegiate Shooting Program Extends Scholarship Deadline

High school athletes. They participate in recreational sports for comradery, thrill of competition, love of the game, and for some, the desire to pursue a scholarship to compete at the next level – the collegiate level.

The NRA Collegiate Shooting Program established the NRA Collegiate Shooting Scholarship to support athletes in continuing their education and further their passion for the shooting sports.

These one-time scholarships are available to high school students in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Virginia who prove good standing in academics and demonstrate a strong interest in the shootings sports and Second Amendment.

Initially, these scholarships were due June 1, 2017, however, if you’re from Kentucky, we have some good news! For 2017 only, Kentucky applicants have an extension through August 1!

Click here for all the details and be sure to have everything postmarked by August 1 for consideration.
