This week we recognize Co-Chairman Bill Molitor, volunteer of two years with the Central Mississippi Friends of NRA.
During his service, Bill has sold 60 banquet tickets bringing in more than $2,700 and has sold six sponsorships totaling nearly $2,500.
NRA Field Representative Gene Newman has worked closely with Bill since he joined the committee and describes him as one to, “take every opportunity he can to talk about Friends of NRA with others."
That enthusiasm matched with strong leadership helped Bill and his team reach new levels of success. For the past two years, Central Mississippi Friends of NRA has claimed High Caliber Club status.
To achieve High Caliber Club status, committees must raise over $25,000. From there, committees are able to reach additional tiers within the Club Level Committee program: Protector Club ($50k - $100k), Defender Club ($100k - $150k), Guardian Club ($150k - $200k), Legacy Club ($200k - $250k), and Legends Club ($250k+).
Before being appointed to co-chairman, Bill volunteered with his committee as needed for four years. Since then, he’s dedicated himself to help his team reach new goals through fundraising and share the mission of Friends with the community.
“Bill keeps his team sighted on the mission and advancement of the future of the shooting sports in Mississippi,” said Gene. “He truly is an advocate for Friends of NRA.”
