Staying on Target with Chris Brackett at the Great American Outdoor Show

Staying on Target with Chris Brackett at the Great American Outdoor Show

The Great American Outdoor Show kicked off Saturday, February 4th and there’s no better way to start day one than some wild trick shots with professional archer and host of ‘Fear No Evil’ Chris Brackett.

Crowds roared as Chris walked out from behind the set. Once the applause died down he immediately began interacting with everyone, asking for volunteers to help him through his assortment of tricks.

Excitement filled the air as he picked kids out of the audience to assist him, by handing him new arrows following every shot. With the help of his trusty sidekicks he was able to successfully fill this hour long act with jaw-dropping tricks!

Beginning with shooting flying foam targets with ease, he then proceeded to more challenging targets, asking the audience to provide them! People immediately began throwing hats, shirts and more unique items like driver’s license, phone cases and even bobbers.

Giving this huge demonstration even more personality, Chris asked the crowd if they had any questions every few minutes. Questions ranged from “how often do you practice?” to what archery products does he prefer and why.

He went out with a bang at Saturday’s show, not only shooting Life Savers (yes, the itty bitty pieces of round candies!) out of the sky but shooting them from behind his head!

When the demo was over he spent more time talking to members of the crowd personally, and even signed various objects upon request.

Want to see more of Chris? Make sure you stop by the Small Arena every day between 2:30p.m. – 3:30p.m. He will be showing off his archery skills Monday, February 6 through Saturday, February 11.
