NRAstore has donated $39,000 to the NRA Foundation’s Law Enforcement Endowment, all from profits from sales of the store’s exclusive “Thin Blue Line” T-Shirt.
The store debuted the "Thin Blue Line" shirt with a two-week promotion between July 28 and Aug. 12, in which 100 percent of the profits would support the Foundation's Law Enforcement Training Endowment. The popularity of the shirt and strong sales resulted in a $39,000 donation to the Foundation.
The NRA Foundation's Law Enforcement Training Endowment supports instructors, agencies and programs serving law enforcement personnel through enhancement of professional firearms-related skills, state-of-the-art gun safety and marksmanship training.
“Now more than ever, the NRA supports our men and women in blue across our country, and will continue to provide that support through our law enforcement programs,” said Kyle Weaver, NRA’s Executive Director of General Operations. “While we’re incredibly encouraged by the response in shirt sales, we are unsurprised, as we know our members and store customers represent the best of America, joining us in our commitment to serve those brave law enforcement officers who risk everything to serve and protect us every day.”
NRA’s support of law enforcement runs deep, having provided training and certification to police nationwide throughout its history. Today, the NRA’s Law Enforcement Division offers certification to law enforcement firearm instructors, police award programs, competitive shooting programs and events, training, scholarships, insurance and more.
The NRA "Thin Blue Line" T-shirt is still available at NRAstore.com, where 100 percent of profits support vital NRA programs. To purchase this and other NRA apparel, gear, collectibles and more, visit http://www.nrastore.com.
