Volunteer of the Week: Thomas Krott

Volunteer of the Week: Thomas Krott

Our Volunteer of the Week is Chairman Thomas Krott, volunteer of 6 years of the New York, New York Friends of NRA

During his service, Thomas has sold 300 banquet tickets bringing in $12,000, sold 10 individual Sponsorships totaling $2,500, raised $3,000 in pre and post-event raffles, arranged underwriting for 20 items totaling $3,500, and acquired 20 donations amounting to $4,000.

When asked about Thomas, NRA Field Representative Jay Rusnock told us: As Chairman Tom has organized and brought together a diverse group of people and annually improves this event. Under Tom’s leadership this committee has done an outstanding job getting merchandise underwritten.  He has taken the innovative approach of getting several groups or organizations to join together to underwrite larger items. Tom has been a delegate to the State grant meeting for 8 years and is always willing to deliver supply items back to other committees that cannot attend. Tom has been the President of the Cuba Rod & Gun Club for the past 7 years and has organized the clubs annual outdoors fun day.  This is a NRA Foundation benefited program.

“Tom is one of those special lead volunteers who works diligently at everything he believes in and commits to."
