State of the art NRA safe lets you access your firearm with one finger swipe

NRA Inprint Micro Biometric Gun Safe available at NRAstore.com

Fairfax, Virginia - As a responsible firearm owner, your safety plan should include keeping your gun secure until you’re ready to use it. But total security often means compromising quick and easy access. When danger looms, fumbling with keys or combinations could cause a delay – and disaster. Fortunately, the NRAstore’s newest handgun safe provides the best of both worlds.

The NRA Inprint™ Micro Biometric Gun Safe requires only one finger swipe for instantaneous access to your firearm. Featuring state-of-the-art biometric technology, the Inprint scans individual fingerprints to authorize its unlocking sequence – no keys are required!

Up to 15 separate fingerprints may be enrolled into its memory with a simple setup process. That means every member of your family will ALWAYS have their “keys” handy…but access is restricted to ONLY those you choose. A quick finger swipe will immediately admit authorized persons, and reject all others.

The Ankle Holster Alternative for Conceal Carry holders

NRA Covert Comfort Ankle Holster Fairfax, Virginia - The first Monday in December — not as bad as you might think. Sun is shining, temperatures above 40o and holiday shopping is underway (for some). The only thing to that can make it better is another stellar selection for Membership Monday.

How does an NRA Covert Comfort Ankle Holster sound?

Sounds pretty good to me — why else would I pick it?

Now you might be wondering why "comfort" is in the title. As they say on the NRAstore.com product page, comfort is the last word that comes to mind when thinking ankle holsters. Ah, but not here. Don't believe me? Maybe you'd believe American Rifleman? Here's a snippet from their review:

Hobo Handbag carries almost everything a female firearms enthusiast needs ... especially if it's concealed

Fairfax, Virginia - After all the hubbub raised from the NRA Bug Out Bag, we thought it might be best to head back into the accessory department for this post-Thanksgiving Membership Monday.

All of you should love this particular product as there is a conceal carry feature involved. But it's probably only going to work for the female population. After all, I am talking about a Concealed Carry Handbag.

Dubbed the American Hobo Concealed Carry Handbag, this antiqued leathered bag provides a stellar look and feel. So where does the Hobo moniker come into play? Simple.

Hobo styled handbags are large, flexible and are usually designed in a U-shape. Carried over the shoulder, they tend to flop when placed on the ground (desk, sofa, etc ...) and pack a great deal of material.

Membership Monday focuses on the power of the written word

The NRA 27 Words T-Shirt shows the Second Amendment is worth fighting for

Fairfax, Virginia - What's so important about the number 27?

Is it the number of World Series wins by the New York Yankees? Number of years between Pennywise the Clown's visit to Derry, Maine? Amendments to the U.S. Constitution? No (at least the last one was close). But we're looking for an answer that's a little more specific. Give up?

How about the number of words in the Second Amendment.

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Put your handguns on your back and make for the range

NRA Handgunner Backpack transports 4 pistols and plenty of range gear from the NRAstore Fairfax, Virginia - I was on assignment in San Antonio, Texas, last weekend for one of NRA's Tactical Police Competitions. As with most travel assignments, I spent a good deal of time lugging equipment through the airports, the hotels and the host shooting range. The Tactical Competition was great. Transporting all the equipment ... not so great.

Competitors told me of similar experiences. Getting all of the gear from their car to range and then again from course to course. There has to be a better way to transport all that equipment. Something along the lines of the NRA Handgunner Backpack.
