Support the NRA and the shooting sports this summer at Friends of NRA dinners across the United States

Friends of NRA

Fairfax, Virginia - Nicole McMahon, NRA's Event Marketing and Communications Manager, comes to us with the Friends of NRA banquet this week.

We say 'banquet' because there will be only one in the country these next seven days. This is because the NRA Field Representatives, who each work tirelessly throughout the year to put on a number of banquets and raise money for the future of the shooting sports, are gathered for their annual summer meeting. During the week "off," the reps will be hard at work evaluating the first half of the year, planning for the remaining banquets to close out what will likely be another record-breaking year, and even taking a look at the merchandise package for 2015.

Friends of NRA

Fairfax, Virginia - Friends of NRA banquets have brought Second Amendment supporters together for more than 20 years for one purpose: ensuring the future of America's shooting sports.

With more than 1,000 banquets being held annually by dedicated volunteers like you, the funds raised at Friends of NRA banquets make a real difference. Half of all money raised at a banquet goes right back into grants for local shooting sports programs and the other half supports programs with a national scope. Besides all the good they do, they're a whole lot of fun.

If you haven't attended a banquet, try one out. Below are the banquets coming up this next week, but you can visit the Friends of NRA website and see what's coming up in your neck of the woods.

Single largest firearms contribution in NRA Foundation history raises $75,000

2014 National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction at the NRA Annual Meetings in Indianapolis

Fairfax, Virginia - Century International Arms, Inc., helped out this year's NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Indianapolis in a big way. The generous firearms manufacturer donated 41 guns to the NRA Foundation, which went on to bring in a combined $75,000 from the National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction and the popular Wall of Guns raffle.

“The NRA Foundation has never received a donation like this before. We were overwhelmed by Century Arms’ generosity,” said Western Regional Director of NRA Field Operations Brad Kruger, who organized the donation. “The inclusion of these firearms helped this year’s NRA Annual Meetings to be the most successful in The NRA Foundation’s 24 years.”
