'Love at First Shot’ Season 5 Debuts Friday

Eight women. Four teams. One goal. That’s the storyline for the new season of NRA Women’s Love at First Shot. Sponsored by Smith & Wesson, Season 5 pairs pro shooters with amateur shooters in a Pro-Am Challenge that provides for lively competition and lessons learned.

Hosts Natalie Foster and Julie Golob of Team Smith & Wesson lead the women through five stages of competition. Each course of fire was created by world-champion shooter Golob, and all are intended to test skill, accuracy, speed and, most of all, teamwork.

With amateurs running the gamut of experience—from a novice who has shot only once before to a former police officer—it’s up to the pros to mentor and prep their teammate for each stage. Following each day’s competition, the ladies sit down for a Q&A that’s equal parts thought-provoking, insightful, inspiring and hilarious.

The Season 5 cast reveal occurred following a scavenger hunt that took place at the NRA Annual Meetings in Dallas earlier this year. Contestants drew colors that would later determine their partners. Participating in Season 5 are:

Breann Bates
Conservative student activist

Kaitlin Clark
Social media strategist

Cheyenne Dalton
Rimfire and 3-Gun competitor

Annette Evans
USPSA, 3-Gun and IDPA competitor

Alisha James
Former law enforcement officer

Janna Reeves

Emily Valentine

Becky Yackley

The Season Premiere of Love at First Shot is Friday, Nov. 16, and the episode will air live on the NRA Women Facebook page at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Viewers are invited to join in the discussion with cast members during this live showing.

New episodes will debut on NRAW Facebook live every Friday at the same time for six straight weeks, concluding on Friday, Dec. 21. After each episode airs live on NRA Women Facebook, it will then become available for viewing on demand on NRAWomen.TV, NRATV.com and the NRA Women IGTV channel, as well as on Apple TV and Roku via the NRATV app. Love at First Shot is sponsored by Smith & Wesson with ammunition provided by Federal Premium.
