Now that I have my Shield I plan to head to the range more often. While going to the range by myself has its perks, more focus and better concentration on training and developing all those good habits - it can get a little mundane. So I imagined for a minute, if I could go to the range with anyone, who would it be? I present you, my list of Professional Shooters I’d love to go to the range with. Who would you bring with you?
Known as one of the best competitive shooters in the game today. This guy has more than 70 National Championships under his belt so why wouldn’t Doug be one of my first choices of Pros to take with me to the Range? He knows his stuff and would probably be a great coach as he regularly takes time to shoot with his sons.
As a native Kiwi I was surprised that this girl has been shooting pistols since she was little. With a competitive shooter as a father and a coach shooting has been in her blood and taking her to the range would be a whole new experience.
Another lady whose father took her to the range at a very young age. She took training very seriously, 6 days a week for 4-5 hours. Franco is one disciplined shooter who would be able to teach me a thing or two at the range.
As a retired police officer, competitive shooter and family man I think Bruce would be one heck of a teacher. If anything, as a crime show junkie, I would find it super interesting to hear his work stories.
A native of the Alaskan wilderness Cogdell knows a thing or two about shooting from her hunting days. There isn’t anything about shotgun shooting that she doesn’t know and there is a lot that I don't know and that is exactly why I'd would take her to the range in a heartbeat.
Professional shooter, veteran, author, hunter, chef, ambassador and champion this mother of two has got some serious game. She does it all which is why I would choose her to join me for a day on the range, that or I could always grab her book Shoot: Your Guide to Shooting and Competing.
As a gun rights activist, lawyer, NRA commentator and host of the popular web series Noir on NRA Freestyle, Colion is definitely one professional who would be top on my list to take to the range. And just because he didn’t pick up a firearm until later in his life doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be able to teach me some valuable lessons.
This YouTube star started out shooting with her father and uncles when she was a youngster. The great thing about this girl, and the reason I would want to take her to the range with me, is that as she learns new tricks and hacks she brings you, her viewers, along to learn. Going to the range with her would be both amazingly fun as well as educational.
