Volunteer of the Week: Alan Caldwell

Our Volunteer of the Week is Treasurer Alan Caldwell, volunteers of 5 years of the South, North, and Metro Orange County, California Friends of NRA Friends of NRA!

During his service, Ala sold over 200 banquet tickets raising in excess of $5,000, sold 10 sponsorships totaling $10,000, and raised $10,000 in pre and post-event raffles.

When asked about Alan, NRA Field Representative Brad Dreier told us: “People all over the state ask if Alan is coming to an event and get excited when I say "yes".

He is known throughout the state as a dedicated and passionate volunteer that doesn’t know what stop, or quit means. At the drop of a hat Alan can be in the car and driving across the state to help if he is needed.

He is one of those guys that stands up to a challenge and takes it head on, he doesn’t wait to be asked. This year alone Alan has come and helped at over 12 banquets and logged more than 40 hours of drive time, and 120 hours at banquets. Alan also plays guitar with the Florissant Jammers, they are a local group that likes to get down…”
