Volunteer of the Week: Stacy Hadley

Volunteer of the Week: Stacy Hadley

Our Volunteer of the Week is Chairman Stacy Hadley, volunteer of 1 year of the London Bridge and Mohave County, Arizona Friends of NRA

During her service, Stacy has sold 260 banquet tickets bringing in $16,000, sold a sponsorship for $1,250, raised $1,500 in pre and post-event raffles, arranged underwriting for 50 items totaling $4,000, and acquired multiple donations amounting over $5,000.

When asked about Stacy, NRA Field Representative Winston Pendleton told us: “When Stacy took over the Mohave County event, she did so with only 30 days left until the event. In that time she managed to fill the venue, gain numerous donations, and had a majority of the standard package underwritten. Through her vast connections Stacy was able to reach folks in the community that had never heard of the Friends of NRA and bring then to the event.
"Stacy truly embodies what volunteerism is, and is leaving a legacy not only for her children, but for all children to enjoy the future of shooting sports and 2nd amendment rights."
Six months after this event, Stacy agreed to be the chairman for the London Bridge event. She did a wonderful job finding volunteers and supporters for both of these events, and spent hundreds of hours to make then successful.

Stacy has been wonderful to work with. She is full of new ideas that have enhance the experience of two long standing events. Stacy has happy to use her connections in the community, including law enforcement, radio and TV, and the county fair, to promote the events and gain new supporters. Stacy truly embodies what volunteerism is, and is leaving a legacy not only for her children, but for all children to enjoy the future of shooting sports and 2nd amendment rights.“
