Believe it or not, gun safety is so easy, even a kid can understand it – but the editors at Mashable, not so much. In one of their latest videos, titled “Can 3 Kids Pass a Handgun Licensing Exam?” they ask 3 kids, ages 5, 8 and 10, a series of True or False questions found in the Michigan Handgun Ownership exam. All 3 kids managed to get over 66% of the questions correct – with no studying for this exam. So, Mashable, what exactly are you trying to prove with this video? That gun safety is so easy, even a kid can understand it? We know. It’s kind of common sense.
What we don’t know is why you would give the kids guns at the end of this exam, and then laugh as they pointed them in their own faces….
Perhaps you need a refresher on the NRA 3 Rules of Gun Safety:- ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction- ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot- ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use
