Fairfax, Virginia - Each year Friends of NRA, the grassroots fundraising program, shatters its old annual record for monies raised. Tens of millions of dollars from all across the United States are donated year after year to help youth shooting sports, range development, women's instructional shooting, firearm safety courses, hunter training programs, and so much more.
And none of it would be possible without the thousands of volunteers who donate their time to the program.
The program may be coordinated by the NRA, but its volunteers are the backbone that organizes, advertises, and hosts more than 1,000 banquets every year. .
If you're familiar with Friends of NRA then you know they're not shy when it comes to thanking the enthusiastic, hard-working men and women who dedicate so much to the cause. Whether someone sells banquet tickets, hangs flyers, works a banquet game, or seeks sponsorships and donations, every role contributes to securing our Second Amendment freedoms for generations to come. Regardless of the role, hard work is recognized and rewarded each spring when Friends of NRA announces its Volunteers of the Year.
