Support the NRA and the shooting sports this summer at Friends of NRA dinners across the United States

Friends of NRA

Fairfax, Virginia - Nicole McMahon, NRA's Event Marketing and Communications Manager, comes to us with the Friends of NRA banquet this week.

We say 'banquet' because there will be only one in the country these next seven days. This is because the NRA Field Representatives, who each work tirelessly throughout the year to put on a number of banquets and raise money for the future of the shooting sports, are gathered for their annual summer meeting. During the week "off," the reps will be hard at work evaluating the first half of the year, planning for the remaining banquets to close out what will likely be another record-breaking year, and even taking a look at the merchandise package for 2015.

If you haven't made it to a banquet yet this year, don't worry. This is only the half-way point. More than 1,000 banquets are held across the United States every year and there are plenty of chances for people to attend an event no matter where they live.

Friends of NRA banquets are full of great people who support the Second Amendment and want to raise money for local, state and national shooting sports programs. Each event is run by our absolutely dedicated volunteers. Without their help, Friends of NRA would not be able to have such reach across the country or make as much of an impact on the future of our shooting sports heritage as we do today.

So let's see where firearms enthusiasts will be raising money for the shooting sports this week:

Durant, Oklahoma
