NRA Webinar covering Women on Target, Refuse to be a Victim and Wilderness Escape
Fairfax, Virginia - While NRA's programs are meant for everyone, we do have a few that specifically cater to those of female persuasion. Programs created to welcome women into the wonderful world of shooting sports. Along with said programs are awards, endowments, scholarship and matches to match. But I'm might as well be talking Klingon to most of you, right? Here's how we're going to fix that.
Today at 1:00pm, NRA Clubs & Associations' much heralded webinar series debuts the Women's Programs episode. And there's so much to cover that they're bringing in a trifecta.
"We have a lot going on in Women's Programs," said Clubs & Associations Manager Son Nguyen. "That's why we have Diane Danielson, Bethany Weeks and Kara Schlifke here to host."
Those are the ladies who run three of our most important female focused programs: Women on Target, Refuse to be a Victim, and Women's Wilderness Escape. Each ready and willing to take to the mic.
"I don't think there's going to be enough time," laughed Danielson. "This year, for example, I'm overseeing about 600 Women on Target Instructional Shooting Clinics. 600. Each one a little bit different from the rest. How I'm going to cover all those events along with the directors, volunteers and donations that go along with them in an hour?
"Think I'm going to ask Son for more time."
To hear about NRA's Women on Target clinics, and whatever amount of info Bethany and Kara can squeeze in about Refuse to be a Victim and the Women's Wilderness Escape in New Mexico, sign up for today's Women's Programs webinar right away.
The clock is ticking.
