Latest gadgets, guns and gear hit the stage at the Knoxville Convention Center
Knoxville, Tennessee - When members of the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) get together for their annual business conference, it's more than meetings, meals and seminars. Sure there's the opportunity to reconnect with friends, colleagues and business partners, but there's also time to show off a little. Especially at the Product Showcase.
For the Produce Showcase is when you get to whip out your wears. Show off your stuff and dazzle the crowd.
Like what for example? Well, I can think of a few things.
The custom topographical and aerial map company MyToPo.com brought out some of their latest additions to the catalog. That's maps you can print up before heading into the woods, research the best routes while working online or pull up on your smartphone just in case you get turned around out there.
Next are sporting scopes stalwart Hawke Sports Optics along with everyone's favorite red dot regular Aimpoint. Each with a little something to help cure the average sportsman's marksmanship woes.
Then we have Real Avid. Not only did they bring out their ever popular yet highly compact AR-15 Scraper Tool, but there was also a sighting of their monster machete-ish spark plug known as Hogzilla.
One booth after another brought a collection of oohs and aahs. Buck Knives and their 50th Anniversary Folding Hunter Knife educational yet entertaining Hunter Safety videos from Kalkomey, and the latest in archery's finest from Brownells.
A collection of the finest in outdoor adventure. All brought to you thanks to the hard word and dedication of the Professional Outdoor Media Association. One of the things that POMA does best.
