Receive priority status on range grants as a member of the NRA Gold Medal Club

NRA Gold Medal Club

Fairfax, Virginia - Is your organization an outstanding member of the shooting sports community? Does it go above and beyond in striving to meet the NRA's goals? Apply to join the NRA Gold Medal Club.

How about preferential treatment received when requesting a NRA Range Grant - a $5,000 award for the acquisition, development, and improvement of shooting facilities. When you're a Gold Medal Club member, your Range Grant application is automatically moved to the front of the line.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to apply or renew your club for the NRA Gold Medal Award! Whether you're applying for the first time or renewing your status, paperwork is due by February, 15, 2014.

What does it take to be a member of the NRA Gold Medal Club?

Prospective clubs must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Be a 100% NRA Club (provide membership list or by-laws)
  • Have a Club Newsletter (please send one copy with application)
  • Belong to the NRA State Association in your state (please provide proof of membership)
  • Have administered or currently incorporate a NRA Youth Program into your club agenda
  • Be an active participant in the NRA Membership Recruiting Program

What are the other benefits besides priority status for NRA Range Grants?

  • Free materials for select NRA Sports programs offered on a quarterly basis
  • Copies of NRA Sports magazine provided for each member of your club (up to 100 copies)

If your organization meets all of the criteria, submit an application online. If your club is selected, you'll receive a wall plaque to proudly display your status. In order to maintain your Gold Medal Club status, your organization must renew every year.

February 15 will be here before you know it. Grab the application from the NRA Clubs & Associations website and show your pride and support for the NRA and the Second Amendment.
