Shoot in the NRA's largest competitive match from your home range this winter
Fairfax, Virginia - Are you looking to do some competitive shooting this winter? The 2014 NRA National Indoor Rifle & Pistol Championships start January 1. Where are they held? Well, unlike NRA's Bianchi Cup or National Matches at Camp Perry, the Indoor Championships are shot through multiple sectional tournaments across the country during the winter.
Your results are sent to the NRA where they're compared to everyone else's and winners are determined. It's a fun way to compete with many other shooters and it's easy to get involved.
As for the specific dates, competitors have from 1/1 - 3/18 for Open Sectionals, 1/1 - 2/12 for Collegiate Sectionals, and 1/1 - 4/15 for Junior Sectionals. Last year's championships saw almost 300 sectionals and the additions of BB Gun and Light Rifle championships.
You're interested in competing, aren't you? The championships are open to anyone and everyone in the country, so there isn't much excuse to be left out. With so many sectionals there's sure to be one nearby.
The NRA National Indoor Championships are a lot of fun and the perfect chance to try out any new gifts you got this past holiday season. Want to host a sectional or learn more about shooting in one? Give the NRA a call:
