Another year of outstanding wildlife art from America's young artists
Fairfax, Virginia - The 2013 George Montgomery/NRA Youth Wildlife Art Contest concluded yesterday after its panel of judges selected winners from among the more than 650 entries. But we aren't ready to announce the winners just yet. We like to call everyone who placed and personally congratulate them on a job well done.
Once we've reached this year's most talented artists, we'll post their amazingly well done entries right here on NRAblog, starting with Category I.
And to all of this year's participants, regardless of whether you placed or not, thank you so much for entering the contest. We hope you enjoyed creating your works of art and we hope you continue honing your skills.
Going forward, we've come to the important task of returning all this great art to the artists. The process has already begun, but it will take some time. We expect everything to be out the door and on it's way home by the end of January. If you need your entry back sooner, for another contest, a college portfolio, or any other reason, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get your entry to the front of the line.
