NRA National Firearms Museum OkTOURberfest

Fairfax, Virginia - The NRA National Firearms Museum lets visitors travel through the parallel histories of the United States and firearms amidst a fantastic collection of more than 2,700 of the finest arms in the world. What could be better than spending an entire day exploring its exhibits? Getting a guided tour from the experts who work there.

This month the museum is celebrating OkTOURberfest and will be giving free group tours to share little-known pieces of knowledge about the firearms within.

OkTOURberfest represents the NRA’s enthusiasm to teach United States history though the lens of firearms. Its 15 galleries cover more than 600 years of the most defining moments in modern history.

Tours run Monday – Friday between 9:30 – 11:30 AM and 1:00 – 3:00 PM and must be scheduled at least one business day in advance. Groups must be comprised of six or more people to qualify for a tour. Appointments are subject to availability so make sure you book yours ASAP.

The official request form can be on the National Firearms Museum website.

“Now is a great time to visit the National Firearms Museum and learn about the role firearms play in our country’s history,” said Museum Director Jim Supica. “Reserve a tour now and let our expert staff guide you through a unique perspective on some of the most historic moments of our nation’s past.”
