Limited edition knife for NRA's Camp Perry Championships from Benchmade

Port Clinton, Ohio - There are souvenirs and there are souvenirs. This is one heck of a souvenir.

Created specifically for the 2013 National Rifle & Pistols Championships at Camp Perry, Benchmade has released a limited edition 551 Custom Griptilian knife. How limited? There were only a 1,000 made ... and they're going fast.

"I spoke with my contact over at Benchmade earlier this week," said Woody Arenas, Senior Marketing Coordinator for the NRA. "They've already received a few hundred orders. Not that big of a surprise — it's a great knife."

Available at, Benchmade's custom Camp Perry Knives come with a contoured, textured blue and black G10 handles and a D2 tool steel drop point blade. There's also a customized Camp Perry lasermark on the blade.

Selling for $150 (not including tax and shipping), you're getting more than just a good looking quality knife, you're also helping the NRA.

"Benchmade is donating 25% of every purchase to NRA's Competitive Shooting Division," said Arenas. "That money will help pay for targets, awards and all sorts of other Competitive Shooting related items."

If you place your order today, there's a chance you'll get a knife numbered in in the low 300s. But you better act fast. By the time the weekend hits, odds are they'll be down to the five or six hundreds.

And knife number 1? Right here at NRA Headquarters.
