Top Air Rifles and Air Pistols Available at NRA Convention's 10-Meter Air Gun Range

Pyramyd Air Gun Range at the NRA convention in Houston

Houston, Texas - Regardless of your age, one of the most fun activities at an NRA Annual Meeting is the Pyramyd Air Gun Range. Located on the third floor in room 310, the range provides the perfect opportunity to plink a few shots off. (And rest your weary legs.)

Sporting the latest and greatest in air rifles and air pistols, this convention center room has been converted to a 10-meter air gun range with over a dozen lanes. Does that sound like fun? Of course it does.

Everyone is welcome to come target shoot, not just from the youngest NRA members to the oldest, but from the newbies to the veterans. Each lane is supervised by NRA Certified Instructors and Coaches who will be happy to provide assistance and instruction.

Many thanks to Pyramyd Air for sponsoring the event, which runs through the entire weekend.

Today the range will close at 6:00 p.m. and it will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.

It's only $1.00 for five shots - likely the amount of loose change in your pocket - so there's little reason not to swing by. Minors must be accompanied by an adult, however. Range staff is not able to look after unattended youngsters. But there's a nice spectating area if you want to watch from afar.

Wondering whose air guns will be available to shoot? We have Air Arms World Class Air Rifles, AirForce Talon SS, AirForce The Edge, Air Venturi Bronco, Beeman Precision Airguns, Beretta PX4 Storm, Browning Buck Mark Air Pistol, Browning Leverage, Crosman Challenger, Evanix MAX, Evanix Rainstorm, Gamo, H&N Pellets, IZH-Baikal 46M Match Air Pistol, IZH 60, RWS, Sam Yang Big Bore Rifles, ShinSung, Stoeger X5, Sumatra Air Rifles, Umarex USA and Walther PPQ CO2 Pistol.

So make some time today or tomorrow and see which NRA member has the best aim.
