NRA Exhibits are the first to open at the Annual Meetings & Exhibits
Houston, Texas - If you're exhibiting at a convention, there's a great deal of pressure when it comes to setting up your booth. You have to get your products cleared, find power, find permits and make sure you're up and running before the lights come on for opening day. There's a little more pressure for those exhibiting for the NRA. Why is that? Because their exhibits are opening a day early.
"We're going to have the Pyramyd Air Air Gun Range up and running by 2," said NRA Range Manager Michael Johns. "Might even have time to squeeze off a few rounds before the kids show up."
On the third floor of the George R. Brown Convention Center, the Pyramyd Air Air Gun Range is only one of the events going live on the quasi-first day of the convention. There's also the NRA Store, the Antique Guns & Gold Showcase and the NRA Foundation Banquet & Auction.
"You need tickets for the Auction and you need to bring a gun for the showcase, but the other two locations are open to the public once the clock strikes two," explained NRA Store Manager Dirk Grove. "We've been working hard for the last two days to make it happen."
Located on the first floor of the Convention Center, the NRA Store (as well as the Pyramyd Air Gun Range) runs from 2:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday. The rest of the week, both go from 8:00am until 6:00pm. Hopefully that will be more than enough time for you to give both a try and secure a few NRA memories for road back home.
