Try the latest air pistols, air rifles during this year's NRA Annual Meeting in Houston

Fairfax, Virginia - In just four days more than 70,000 people are expected to converge on Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center for the 142nd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits. We're expecting a record-setting crowd of Second Amendment supporters to come out and and enjoy a fun weekend catching up with us - a lot has happened since last year's convention in St. Louis.

With so much to see and do, having fun at the NRA convention can get downright tiring. There are plenty of places throughout the convention center to take a seat and rest your weary legs, but only one where you can do it with an air gun.

Welcome to the Pyramyd Air Range.

Whether you're looking to try out an air gun before a purchase or just want to have some fun downtime during the convention, the “Pyramyd Air” Air Gun Range is the place you want to be.

Hosted by the NRA’s Competitive Shooting Division, the Air Gun Range has become a staple of the NRA Annual Meeting.

Sponsored by Pyramyd Air, the Air Gun Range will be open from Thursday, May 2 to Sunday, May 5 on the third level of the George R. Brown Convention Center.

The Air Gun Range will operate during the following hours:

  • Thursday, May 2: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday, May 3: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 4: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 5: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The “Pyramyd Air” Air Gun Range is open to all ages and is only $1.00 per five shots. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The firing line will be supervised by NRA Certified Instructors and Coaches who will provide assistance and instruction.

Attendees will be able to try the latest models of air rifles, air pistols, air silhouette rifles and 10-meter running game targets from leading manufacturers in the air gun industry. In addition to Pyramyd, shooters can try products from Air Arms, Air Force, Air Venturi, Beeman Precision, Crosman, Evanix, Gamo, H&N Pellets, Hatsan, IZH/Baikal, Stoeger, and Umarex.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of NRA events and Annual Meeting is no different. Our conventions would not be possible without generous supporters donating their time to assist with activities. We'd really appreciate it if you can spare a half-day or more to help make this year's Annual Meeting our best yet. View the Volunteer Registration Form to sign up, select availability and where you'd like to help.
