The 2013 NRA Annual Meeting App

Get the Who, What, Where, Why, When and How for the NRA Convention

Fairfax, Virginia - With a little less than two weeks until the 2013 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, odds are that all your plans are in place. You've registered for the convention, know where you're going to stay, taken care of any transportation concerns and planned where to meet up with friends. But what about once you step inside the convention?

Well ... we've to an app for that.

Thanks to the good folks over at ChirpE, you can answer just about all of your convention questions with the NRA 2013 Mobile App.

So what does it do? Quite a lot.

First and foremost there's a list of exhibitors. Listed alphabetically by name or by product (ammunition, firearms, holsters, etc... ), just find your favorite company and click on it. From there you can add it to your planner, find it on the map or add a meeting. There's also a basic rundown of the company including phone number, website and an email address.

Then there's the above mentioned map. With a 'locate me' button at the bottom, the map allows you to whisk in and out of the convention floor with the greatest of ease. The map is available in two versions (a main map and a session map) to make your path through the booths all that much easier.

Other functions include:

  • A schedule of all convention events
  • A personal planner
  • Local information
  • A Buzz function to keep on top of all the latest news
  • A link to the Annual Meetings Twitter feed (follow #NRAAM)
  • A personalized map of every location and booth you visit.

So fire up your iTunes account and download the NRA 2013 Mobile App now. Even if you don't make it down to Houston, at least you can follow most of the action in the palm of your hands.
