Fairfax, Virginia - It's Easter Sunday. The family is all dressed up, fresh from a morning service. Or maybe the kids are all covered in mud and goo from an early Easter Egg hunt. Now what do you do? Why not take a tour of the National Firearms Museum?

"Families are always looking for ways to accentuate their weekend activities," said National Firearms Museum Director Jim Supica. "Here at the NRA Museum, we have centuries of history and excitement that fits the family friendly bill."

Located at 11250 Waples Mill Road in Fairfax, Virginia, the museum is less than two miles of exit 57 on Interstate 66. Open from 9:30am to 5:00pm, there will be plenty of time to start your day with Easter celebrations and top it off with the wondrous collections here at the NRA.

Sunday's opening marks the first time in more than a decade that the museum is open for Easter. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.

"Fifteen galleries of guns starting with a 1350 European Handcannon going all the way up to the latest in today's firearm technology. Start at the front and end at the back. We're sure to have something for everyone."
