Fairfax, Virginia - We're now more than half way through the third season of Friends of NRA's on the Outdoor Channel. Hard to believe, right? It seems like it was only a week ago when Matt and Jessie kicked off the new season.
But there's no time for lamenting ... let's look at this weekend's episode.
On Sunday's show, the Duffs head to the Cowboy State known as Wyoming. They are there to trade in their baseball caps for the more traditional cowboy variety. Once arriving in Rock Springs, Matt and Jessie mosey on over to the NRA and Weatherby-sponsored National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) — an event that brings in kids from all over the world.
The National High School Finals Rodeo gives our hosts the opportunity to take in the rodeo and hang out with high school kids who are competing for college scholarships and championship belt buckles. And you know how they can be about their buckles.
In between events, Matt and Jessie find themselves over at the Sweetwater Trap Club. That's where the Finals Rodeo is holding their trap shooting event. On site to cheer on the competing kids, there's also an NRA Day event to enjoy with a family trap shoot theme.
You can catch a little of Matt and Jessie at the trap shooting portion of the National High School Finals Rodeo in the clip above (plus a quick shot of Brownells/NRA Youth Shooting Sports Ambassador Dallas Dallas Beshears), but that's only a small taste of the fun. For the full effect, tune in Sunday night at 10:00 eastern time on Outdoor Channel.
