Sportsman Channel building Museum Monday with a shift in Curator's Corner
Fairfax, Virginia - On January 15, 2013, NRANews debuted live from Las Vegas on the Sportsman Channel from 5pm to 6pm eastern time. This one-of-a-kind live show brings guns, guests and the up-to-the-minute firearm related news to more than 80 million homes across America.
Following the overwhelming reception at SHOT Show, producers announced late last week that the ever popular Thursday night segment known as Curator's Corner would be moved to Monday nights.
"Now viewers will have two opportunities on Monday to see Curator's from the NRA National Firearms Museum," explained Executive Producer John Popp. "First on our show at 5pm, and second on NRA's Guns and Gold at 9pm."
Starting tonight, the Curators are back at the Tulsa Arms Show in Oklahoma with special guest Earl Mount. Earl was nice enough to bring along his Walther Model 9 Vest Pocket Pistol.
With approximately 250,000 manufactured from 1921 to 1944, the Walther Model 9 is a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol. Changes from the Model 8 (produced from 1920 to 1944) include a return to an exposed barrel and 3.7 ounce drop in weight.
So if you're looking for this week's edition of Curator's Corner, then tune in tonight. That's from 5pm to 6pm on the Sportsman Channel or at 10:40pm on NRAnews.com.
