Friends of NRA kicks off 2013 in North Carolina, California, Arkansas and ...

Taurus Ultra-Lite 85 .38SPL at Friends of NRA dinners Fairfax, Virginia - The new year is here, the sun is shining, the temperatures ... well the temperatures are pretty darn cold. But that won't be enough to dissuade us from heading out to the new season of Friends of NRA dinners. Right?? Of course not. Because along with the new year there's plenty to do in our effort to support and advance this country's proud shooting sports traditions.

That's exactly why they came up with the Friends of NRA banquets. A gathering of like-minded friends, neighbors, family members and more for a night food, festivities and frivolity. It's a great opportunity to out what's going on in your community, and maybe even find a new buddy to head off to the range with you. When you can't get the hubby or wife to go along of course.

It's also a great place to see something like the gun up there to the right ... a Taurus Ultra-Lite 85 .38SPL. This .38, and tons of other Friends merchandise, will be up for auction at Friends of NRA dinners all across America. It's a great way to get yourself that long needed firearm, and throw a little money towards supporting the Second Amendment. Here's more on the pistol:

The popular little revolver model 85 continues to make a mark in the Taurus family with the Ultra-Lite .38SPL. Finished in stainless steel, this .38 SPL +P rated revolver has a rubber grip for comfort and ease and contains the capacity of 5 rounds. This powerful, lightweight revolver is a desired model for concealed carry with a 2” barrel and easy safety transfer bar. The DA/SA 6.5” revolver is featured with the NRA monogram logo lasered on the frame.

With that in mind, here are the Friends of NRA dinners scheduled for next week:

Visalia, California
Concord, North Carolina
Friends of NRA Angels Camp, California
Bismarck, North Dakota
Cave Springs, Arkansas
Fairfield, California
Astoria, Oregon
Effingham, Illinois
