Fairfax, Virginia - In Friends of NRA's fifth episode last season, Matt got invited out to an NRA Day in South Dakota to celebrate youth shooting sports. Joining up with Clayton Pederson, Field Rep to both Dakotas, Matt treked out to see what the SportsFest was all about.

NRA Days are community activities with great opportunities for adults, kids, families, hunters, sportsmen, competitors - basically everyone - to have fun learning more about, or improving their skill at, the shooting sports.

Most NRA Days have things like archery, muzzeloading, shotgun and smallbore shooting, but the Miniteman Archery Range's event has something much, much bigger. Thanks to Rocky Mountain Armament, the day featured a 76mm anti-tank cannon from the Korean War. And they were going to let Matt fire it. "It's definitely a prairie dog round," the guys joked.

After some quick preparation, Matt was all set to fire and, well, with a gun that big you don't need to worry about being a marksman. See what happened for yourself in the video above.

As the third season of Friends of NRA gets closer this winter on the Outdoor Channel, we'll share more of our favorite moments from the past two years until all new episodes debut on January 6. Have some favorite scenes of your own you want to share? Feel free to talk about the show below.
