Matt and Jesse took a great trip to speak with 9/11 firefighters last season on Friends of NRA. Did you see it?
Fairfax, Virginia - With the recent news of Friends of NRA coming back to the Outdoor Channel for a third season, we started looking back on some of our favorite moments from the show. Moments like in the second episode of last season when Matt and Jesse traveled to New York City just prior to the ten year anniversary of the tragic September 11th attacks.
After spending the weekend in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings, our two hosts headed east to the Big Apple. On their way they stopped in Central Pennsylvania to visit the Altoona Curve, a minor league baseball team Matt pitched on during his career.
Once they reached New York City, Matt and Jesse spent some time with firefighters who responded to the 9/11 attacks and were overcome with emotions. Their stories of bravery on that day were awe inspiring and our hosts let them know just how much their service is appreciated.
We'll be sharing more of our favorite Friends of NRA moments from the past two years as season three gets closer and finally debuts January 6. What were your favorite things from the first two seasons? Feel free to share them in the comments below.
