Ladies learned firearms and more in Fincastle, Virginia
Fincastle, Virginia - It was two years ago this week that the NRA brought on Diane Danielson to take over the NRA's Women On Target Instructional Shooting program. Jumping in with both feet, she promptly headed out to Fincastle, Virginia.
There, at the Ridge Rifle Club, a number of women took their first step into the world of shooting sports. And they did so with a bang.
"Some of the club members belong to the Virginia Cavalry, a Civil War Reenactment group," Danielson said. "They brought their muskets and a 10 pounder Parrot cannon to demonstrate some of the firearm history of the United States."
