This looks to be one of the last big weeks of the year before things begin to settle down for the holiday season. Fall has been a busy time for Friends of NRA, it's when the majority of the almost 1,200 annual events are held across the country.

There are still a good number of events left, though, and you might even have one near you this next week. The money raised at Friends of NRA events goes a long way towards helping out shooting sports programs in both your area and nationwide - national and local funds are split down the middle.

Visit the Friends of NRA website to learn more about their events if you've never been to one. And if you don't see something near you this week, there's a great map of the United States where you can see the full list of upcoming events by state. You're sure to find something there.
