Albuquerque, New Mexico - Springfield, Remington, Smith & Wesson, FNH and more are scattered across the prize table here at the National Police Shooting Championships. Each awaiting a new home as competitors from this year's National Matches patiently wait for their turn at the table.
Calling out competitor's names, NRA staff scrambles in the back to collect any trophies, awards or prizes.
"We have a lot to give away this year," said NRA's Bert Peacher. "It hurts to see everything go, but I'm sure they'll be put to good use by the winners."
Prominently displayed at the front of the table is a matched set of NPSC 50th Anniversary Smith & Wessons. On the left is a Model 10 Revolver and on the right rests an M&P. Those are part of the Mega Raffle that's been taking place on all week.
All to be handed out this evening at the NPSC Awards Banquet, raffle winners could end up the evening as the proud owner of a FNS USA SCAR, a Remington 1911 pistol, a Beretta 92 FS, a limited edition SOG Gunny Fixed Knife set and a whole lot more.
Although you don't have to be present to win, you do have to be present to purchase a ticket.
As the afternoon matches come to a close, we'll sign off for now and get back with more from the National Police Shooting Championships in Albuquerque.
