NRA's 2012 Christmas Ornament has historical inspiration

Fairfax, Virginia - It's never too early. Too early to finish that term paper, plan that anniversary party or start remodeling that kitchen of yours. Another thing it's never too early to start doing is planning for Christmas, and what better way to make that start then with the official 2012 NRA Christmas Ornament.

As always, when it comes to our official ornaments, this special edition collectible will add that touch of Second Amendment flair to your tree.

Standing in the center for all to see is a 19th century shooter taken straight from NRA’s original 1871 letterhead. But it doesn't stop there. Taking the 19th century into the 21st, there's a little 3-D action too. Here's more from the NRA Store website:

Solid brass construction is plated with 14K gold, then decorated with five vibrant colors, all engineered to catch and reflect your twinkling Yuletide lights. On the rear panel, the highly polished NRA eagle and crossed rifles are etched on a finely textured background, surrounded by patriotic five-pointed stars.

Measuring 2½” in diameter, the 2012 NRA Christmas Ornament comes ready for presentation in a molded, flocked gift box.

Sounds like the perfect piece to add to your collection, doesn't it? So go out there and get one! Don't let this season sneak by without adding the NRA 2012 Christmas Ornament to your holiday collection.
