It's not as if you need an excuse to spend a weekend at Cabela's. At least a couple of hours ... right? But for those of you in need of a good excuse, then how about an NRA weekend? If that's what you need then you're in luck.

Starting next weekend, September 15 & 16, every Cabela's across these United States will be hosting an NRA weekend. What does that mean? Means a lot.

Means that if you join NRA for one year or more at your local Cabela's then they are going to turn around and hand you a $25 Cabela's gift card. It also means that if you take advantage of the special NRA Life Membership discount ($750 down from $1,000) then they'll throw add a leather jacket in with that gift card.

So consider this fair warning. This weekend — do what you will. But next weekend ... next weekend you save for Cabela's.
