A NRA Y.E.S. attendee sends his thanks
Wyatt Saltarelli was one of this year's Youth Education Summit scholarship recipients, receiving $1,000 towards a college education. He recently wrote this great thank you letter to his NRA Field Representative, Southern Texas's Liz Foley, telling her about how much he enjoyed this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Dear Ms. Foley,
I’ll never forget the phone call I received from my mom telling me I had been accepted to YES. I don’t exactly remember what I was doing but I remember being so excited and amazed that I was accepted. Participating in the Youth Education Summit was the funnest thing I have ever done in my life. Touring the Capitol was amazing and the Marine base at Quantico was incredible. Participating in YES impacted my life tremendously and I’m determined to do whatever I can to support the 2nd amendment and the NRA. In all, thank you so very much for everything you did to get me to YES!
One of my favorite parts of the field trip was touring the Capitol. It was June 28th, the day the Supreme Court would uphold Obamacare and Congress would hold Eric Holder in contempt. We were able to tour the Capitol and see so many cool statues and paintings. We also got to see Congress in session as they debated whether to hold Eric Holder in contempt or not. It was exciting to be watching, “history in the making,” in a certain sense.

And thank you, Wyatt, for making the most of the Youth Education Summit. You came away from the weeklong trip with exactly the right attitude.
