There's been an incredible amount of preparation put into this summer's National Rifle & Pistol Championships. Volunteers are organized and on their way, awards have been ordered and shipped, and as you can see above, the billboards have been posted.
"They are dotting the skyline on the way to Camp Perry," said NRA Senior Marketing Coordinator Woody Arenas. "We are really happy with the results."
A gentle poke, or reminder, of the festivities to come, the billboards are just one example of what NRA does to get the word out. Packets are sent to competitors months ahead of time, articles appear in a variety of periodicals and interviews are accepted on a number of platforms.
So when if you happen to be driving along and see one of those billboards, honk your horn for Woody — the man put a lot of work into this project. And dozens of others of course.
