St. Louis, Missouri - One of the first images from last weekend's NRA Convention in St. Louis was National Firearms Museum's Antique Guns Showcase. With experts ranging from Blue Book of Gun Values's Steven P. Fjestad, Guns & Ammo's Garry James and a contingency from the NRA Board of Directors, collectors were asked to bring in their favorite firearms for a look see. The potential payout was twofold.
First was the once in a lifetime opportunity to have the best in the business appraise and evaluate your guns. Maybe find out if that's really your great great great grandfather's musket from the Civil War or if it's a 1930's knockoff from San Juan. The second, if your collectable was truly something special, was to appear on NRA's Guns & Gold.
Heading into their second season on Sportsman Channel, Guns & Gold follows Museum Director Jim Supica and Senior Curator Phil Schreier as they travel the country looking for that fabled lost relic.
