Reserve your spot today for this year's NRA Black Powder Target Rifle Championships. Held August 18-25, the championships are a week of great shooting and great people at the beautiful NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico.

This year's championship program has been released and can be read above to get an idea of rules and regulations, a map of the area, the match schedule and suggestions for what else you can do while there.

NRAblog was on hand last year covering the event and will be there again, getting your bullseyes and smiling faces up here on the site.

"Black Powder shooters are some of the nicest and accommodating people I have the pleasure of working with," said Match Director Jonathan Leighton. "If you have any amount of curiosity, come on out and a guarantee our match's shooters will show you a good time."
