San Antonio, Texas – International Trap got off to a little late start this morning due to a two hour fog delay. The fields have just about caught up under a sweltering sun and are working hard to accommodate the 384 students signed up for the event who will narrow themselves down to the top six men and top six women.

Although roughly half the scores have come in, the top spot in men's, Fort Hays' Robert Ring, is sitting comfortably after an impressive performance. Ring currently sits #1 after shooting a 98 out of 100 through his four flights. Skirting in behind him are Brett Pruett from Lindenwood, Ring's teammate Tye Smith and Hillsdale College's Blake Scott, all tied with a 97.

On the women's side Lindenwood holds the top three spots with Brittany Wright, Eileen Applegate and Rachel Hopkins sporting 95, 94 and 93 respectively, although Hopkins sits tied with Megan Greco of Schreiner University.
