There's more news about the second season of the Friends of NRA TV show. Turns out that Winchester Ammunition has signed on to be a Sharpshooter Sponsor.

For those of you who unfamiliar with the Friends of NRA television show, here's what you're missing. First there's Matt Duff; a retired Major League Baseball player who's found a second career in the outdoor television industry. Then we have Jessie Harrison; winner of 22 National and 19 World Champion shooting titles. Together they travel across the United States to see what events and experiences are available out there thanks to Friends of NRA. The show airs on Sunday nights at 10:00 on the Outdoor Channel.

Everyone, of course, knows the name Winchester. Founded in 1866, they are one of the world's largest supplier of sporting ammunition. Winchester prides itself on producing high-quality products and takes a leading role in advancing and supporting conservation, hunter education and shooting sports programs. See their website at for additional information.

“Winchester is a recognized leader in supporting our hunting and shooting sports heritage and partnering with the Friends of NRA demonstrates a strong commitment to our customers and the industry,” said Brett Flaugher, Winchester Ammunition Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

So tune in to the Outdoor Channel on Sunday nights to see Matt and Jessie in Friends of NRA action. And if you'd like to join Winchester, then call Event Services Manager Jeremy Greene at (703) 267-1354. He can tell you about all the sponsorship opportunities available.
