Smiling faces and a few favorite sights from the NRA Great American Hunting & Outdoor Show
Our three days last weekend at the NRA Great American Hunting & Outdoor Show in Frederick, Maryland were filled with smiling faces. There was plenty to see, plenty to eat and plenty of four legged friends — especially those who begged to be carried.
Though he failed to win the Big Buck Contest's overall Best in Show, the man who brought in this Accotink buck did manage to walk away with the Historical Best in Show as well as the title of Maryland Grand Champion.
If you've got the gear and you've got the look, why waste time walking when Mom's more then happy to push? Instead, just strike a pose in your leopard print and let the show come to you.
That's just a good looking warthog.
This little girl received the full ATV experience – sans the mud and bumps of course.
But that's just a portion of what we saw at Great American. Over the next few weeks, there'll be more pictures, more interviews and more from the management of the NRA's Great American Hunting and Outdoor Show.
