NRA's Great American Hunting and Outdoor Show opens their doors this weekend in Frederick, Maryland
How’d you like to track down some elk in Montana? Maybe pick up a new hunting bow or outdoor gear? You can do all of that and more this weekend at the NRA’s 3rd Annual Great American Hunting & Outdoor Show in Frederick, Maryland.
The doors opened only a few hours ago to the new location here at the E-ventplex at the Frederick Fairgrounds and the initial response has been a positive one.
“People have mentioned how much they like the new facilities,” said NRA Hunting Services Manager Bob Davis. “Little lighter, little brighter and a little closer to the highway."
Things will be chugging along until 9pm this evening … but that’s not the end of the show. Tomorrow the show runs from 9am until 7pm and Sunday from 9am until 5 in the afternoon.
“We’ve been coming here ever since they started having it,” said Keith White of New Mexico’s Keith White Outfitting (KWO). “I think a lot of more people are going to be showing up here. “
"And we got plenty of elk out there," claimed KWO's Curtis Price. "Tell them to come on out, we'll set 'em up."
