Customized rifle created especially for SHOT Show 2012

Las Vegas, Nevada - I'm sorry to say that SHOT Show 2012 has been a disappointment, but not for the reasons that you might guess. I have only praise for the National Shooting Sports Foundation and their efforts here this week. The vendors have been open to questions, even the dumb ones, and more than happy to pose for pictures and videos. The bloggers, writers, photographers and others here to cover the event have been open with tips and ready to assist at a moments notice. No, my disappointment this week isn't with anyone but me.

There have been so many events to witness, so many new products to pursue and so many potential interviews to conduct that I can't begin to check off even a portion of my to-do list. But there's still one more day.

One more day to find that nugget of a great idea that will soon take it's place on the shelves of Cabela's, Gander Mountain and other outdoor retailers across the globe. That outfitter, designer or personality who will rise from local hero to international superstar.

So unlike those who are gathering goods and materials to go on the hunt once they return home, I'll be packing camera and recorder in my trusty case as I head out in the day in search of redemption. To make sure that the last day of SHOT Show is packed with as much of Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor info as possible.

Here we go.
