Activities are wrapping up at the 2012 SHOT Show

Top Shot Dustin Ellerman posing for a picture in the Benelli booth Las Vegas, Nevada - The Sands Expo and Convention Center is all quiet now. Gone is the hustle and bustle created by the tens of thousands who arrived just a few days ago for a look at the best the firearm/outdoor industry has to offer here at SHOT Show. All that’s left are the crews breaking down their booths, packing up material and heading off to the next show.

Though I had my doubts, the last day was filled with several welcome surprises. We were able to snag History Channel’s reigning Top Shot Dustin Ellerman for a quick trip to Benelli-USA and a few other booths. Samantha Virk squeezed in a few minutes to update us on her activities since last year and the crew from Nowlin Arms gave us a look at a few of the founder’s last firearms.

Now I’m back in the hotel getting ready for that one last night in Vegas. Sorry to say there won’t be late nights in the clubs or working the tables. No, there’s still a few industry events to attend and bags to packed for tomorrow’s departure. And don’t forget a couple blog posts or two to write.

So I’m going to clean up and head out one last time. One last night here in Vegas as SHOT Show 2012 comes to an end.
